Tracing the Fragments of Home

"Tracing the Fragments of Home" is an editorial inspired by the work of artist Bruno Catalano. It tells the story of a young girl who moves abroad to pursue her dreams, leaving her family and past life behind. In search of completeness, she seeks a sense of home through fleeting connections, much like Catalano's sculptures, which depict fragmented figures symbolizing parts of a whole. While physically distant, she remains emotionally tethered to her loved ones through video calls, recreating familiar moments—dining together, sharing stories, watching movies, and reliving childhood memories. Despite her longing for the comfort of home, she balances nostalgia with the reality of growing up and maturing, expressing her roots through colorful childhood clothing while navigating her new life.
